Borges was a mind-bending genius. Every single one of his stories--every single time I read them--gives me a mini existential crisis, makes me want to write, makes me want to re-read it (in the original Spanish, if possible), and makes me proud of the universe. Except for when I can't finish them because they're too pretentious.
