3.75 stars. I wish more authors would just have fun when writing their books. While reading this, you can tell the Lemming is have a great time creating this.

The plot of the story was solid. I love the world building of this book series. It is so much fun. I also loved the conversation of consent under a spell. It is easy to say as long as they go the hots for each other, they should go at it, but that's not always how things should go down. loved how Brie truly grappled with it though out the book.

This is my first experience with monster romances that include... ???alternative???... body parts, so I was wayyyyy out of my comfort zone with some of the sex scenes. While it was not egregious, I think monster romance stuff is just not for me. But I don't fault the writer for that, it has more to do with my personal preferences.

Outside of a few editing issues, this was a great book, and once again I had a great time with this series.

No pressure, but when are we getting Dante's story??????
