Bowling Alone: The Collapse and Revival of American Community by Robert D. Putnam

2.0

Honestly gave up on this book at chapter 4. I was excited for it, as it’s an interesting topic, but the writing is super dry. And it feels annoyingly repetitive, and 500+ pages of it is just too much. I wish it was <200 pages, or just like a summarized short video.

I don’t like to review books I don’t complete, but this is one that since I’m actively choosing to stop I thought valuable to share.

After reading other reviews and comments, it seems like I’m not alone in this too.
