It was entertaining to read and I didn’t see the “main” twist coming, but I found everything else to be predictable. I rolled my eyes when I read the last sentence—it wasn’t shocking at all.

I found it lacked explanation in some scenarios.
I didn’t fully comprehend that him cheating on his wife was considered so bad in their marriage. In fact, I thought she knew and it was a part of the plan to survey for victims. It also suggested that the mom had been purposely and continuously poisoning her daughter, which the wife denied before she died. It seemed out of character for her because though she was a menace, I believe she really loved her kids. I know she poisoned her on occasion when she needed to stay home without husband, but I don’t believe she did it for shits and giggles.
