A delightful volume in which no one died horrifically and had their corpse essentially stripped for parts to create a powerful villain that would, 14 years later, continue to traumatize their already severely traumatized best friends in new and surprising ways.

Once again I do not actually care about the main plot of this series and am only here for the back story.
