Our church is using this book as a premise for a 7 part series, based the on the 7 principles listed in the book.  The book reads like a novel, and the plot is similar to A Christmas Carol.  A man is struggling so he "visits" 7 people throughout time who have a message for him (thus, each of the 7 principles).  This book is quite simplistic and not very interesting.  The main character whines throughout.  This book would have been much better as a non-fiction book with the famous people as examples, but still written for an adult audience.
