I liked this book, but I don’t think I’ll ever want to reread this series.
I kind of like the characters, but there aren’t enough scenes showing them interacting with each other. I understand that the circumstances aren’t the best for them all to get together, but it doesn't really seem like they even want to.
The pace of the book was fine, but once again, not much is being done about finding Mae’s sister’s killer. I was sure that Boston was involved somehow, but they don’t really have any leads or at least they’re not doing anything about them (such as even talking to Mae’s father’s mistress or his other kids) .
I’m curious to see how this series will wrap up, but I’m not expecting anything amazing.
