Shattered deceit is not for the faint of heart. Be sure to read the trigger warnings as this book has a lot of them. It follows the story of Asher and how hard he works to run from his past. There is a happy ending that is very hard fought in this book. It may not be the happy ending that everybody is looking for, but it is happy nonetheless. If you were looking for a book that contains a lot of spice, this book may not be the one for you. It does contain a lot of dark themes and angst between the main characters.
