Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith
4.0
Being from Springfield, I couldn't turn this one down. It was a very fun book to read. I especially loved being able to see names from New Salem and Springfield and say, "Hey! I know who that was!"
I love the way Grahame-Smith really intertwined history and fiction, so that the reader isn't entirely sure how much truth is in the story. And I loved that the story is partially told by an author and partially by a subject. I love a book with varying perspectives.
I didn't like the ending very much because I don't think that's how (the story's) Lincoln really would have wanted it to end.
I'm not usually into vampires, but I'm glad I read this book.
