This was a really nice, gentle read. I absolutely adored Marcellus and I’m so glad that the writer went some way to tackling the problematic nature of zoos.
The connection between Tova and Cameron became obvious earlier in the story than I’d expected, but the writer still managed to introduce uncertainties about the outcome.
I thought Tova’s character was particularly well-developed and I found her very believable.
