You really mean it when you says your books feel like hugs because this was the ultimate comfort read. The world Becs has created in this book is one I want to move to and live in permanently. I absolutely adored the friendships between Beckett, Layla & Stella, and the close knit small town of Inglewild has completely captured my heart. But Luka has captured my heart EVEN MORE because he is the most swoon worthy of heros. He is so so sweet to Stella, so patient and the two of them are so deeply in love I refuse to believe they weren’t made for each other

Best friends to lovers is one of my top favorite tropes and everything about it was done so perfectly in this book. The mutual pinning, meddling friends & family, slow burn, and forced proximity were all done so well, I’m obsessed with Becs’ writing.
