The beginning was very engaging, dark and mysterious and the plot was kind of unpredictable too but I just wasn't a fan of the romance. Like, Drazen & Taylor definitely had chemistry but they didn't know each other at all. So I couldn't really get how they suddenly confessed of loving each other. Also, with the way the past unfolded, it was quite unrealistic how Drazen was so fine with not hurting Taylor because he had a very big reason to hate her. So overall, while this book was engaging and fast paced, it was nothing new or extraordinary. I was expecting a lot from the plot and unfortunately was left feeling disappointed because it was completely different than what I had comprehended.
