It's occurred to me only now that a talk I listened to about this book by George, in which he talked about the book, may have actually just been him reading the book and I was clicked over in another tab.

Anyway, I love the man. If we had to send a representative to the aliens that could communicate what it is to be human, for all our warts and blessings, I'd send Saunders. They still might blow us up, but I don't think anybody would deliver a better argument.
