I actually enjoyed this book more than I thought!

Loses a star because I had to take a break from it PLUS I’m not a fan of Colin’s form of love turning him into an over protective man with a temper. I saw some reviews say they didn’t like the latter half of the book so I was expected to give this three stars but I actually enjoyed the book a lot more once they got together.

I feel like Penelope was able to relate to Colin more and keep him in check by that point, and I feel like Colin had shed some of the weird grumpiness he had. Both of these characters I loved, and to be honest I love a writer couple! I loved how their love was still magical but so different from the other Bridgertons.

Another half star off because I wish there was at least one more sex scene, I wasn’t 100% satisfied we couldn’t see the wedding night :’( 3.5 rounded to 4
