The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar
3.5
The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar is about two girls who find their identity and each other through a school business competition.
I enjoyed the book, but I wish there was more of a focus on the Henna War and the competition than there actually was. The characters were flawed in their own way, but they were all able to overcome their flaws. I didn't particularly care for the characters, but I didn't hate them either.
The romance felt too fast for me too. It feels similar to a high school relationship, but it didn't entirely make sense to me.
