I admit, I can't be totally objective in my review here because - Sirens! This book was written to raise money to benefit the Sirens Conference so I'm predisposed to love it and all the writers represented in it. That said, I love anthologies with themes like this. The one thing all the stories all have in common is that they feature a Queen and a Courtesan, but each story creates its own world and situations. You can dip into each one and then look forward to the next.

And I'm so pleased somebody brought in actual bees. :-)
