This book is manipulative and unrealistic (although that's exactly how every other Colleen Hoover's books are like). Yes, it did a good job in portraying the facade of a healthy relationship which actually is toxic but no, the things that Ryle did when he was supposed to be a good guy were hella creepy and definitely not romantic (atleast for me). I just don't know how could someone just read this book and be like 'oh my god Ryle is so romantic. I want a man like him'. And Atlas was just like every other unrealistic book boyfriend who's perfect and would do anything for you. That's just so repetitive, cringy and a big Cliché in all these YA romance novels.
To be really honest, I'm just frustrated because as the people were describing this book, I had expectations from it but unfortunately it just made me dislike it even more. I don’t hate it but I definitely don't like it. And I can kind of see why people love it but that just can't be me.
