The gang are back together Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim although Ibrahim sadly has his confidence knocked but don’t worry the gang have their revenge on the person responsible. For me its all about spending time with these characters rather than the mystery itself I love how the story interweaves characters into the story you wouldn’t expect to like my favourite is Bogdan. His visits with Stephen are so sweet. I love how Joyce’s narrative is like a stream of consciousness as she writes her diary where she includes all the other things that are important to her but aren’t necessarily part of he main story. Things don’t alway go right and sometimes they have to adapt as the narrative shapes. Last time we saw things more from Donna’s perspective but this time Chris blossoms as his life takes an unexpected turn.
I did enjoy the sequel a lot more than the first story I think because we had got to know the characters more and felt more comfortable with them. I am looking forward to the third entry in the series. Thanks Richard I’m glad you have switched from quizzes to writing.
