Good People by David Lindsay-Abaire

Tragicomic & relevant to the times. Margie is a canny character, passive-aggressiveness honed like a knife used to cut fish for sushi. She's also out of work, and has a disabled daughter. Does she stoop too low to get by? Is the 1% (her old flame, now a doctor)too conceited to help her out? This is a play that deals with Occupy issues - the boundary between protest as necessary to correct society and protest as harmful to society. More importantly, it addresses the ups and downs of finding money or a job with dignity. The end will surprise you. A thoughtful play that hinges on Margie's character - what a diva role.
