OH MY GOD. I've seen the author tease the second book on Instagram and now the epilogue makes sense!!!
Anyways, I'm in love with this book! This is a YA gothic mystery romance series. Peak gothic ghost vibes!! I loved the romance and murder mystery wrapped up all in this one book. For YA, it's not too spicy, but the tension had me squealing, kicking my feet, and blushing. So well done. Didn't expect this book to make me tear up, but one section in the chapter made cry and I had to take a breather.
I read most of this in physical edition, but I just have to say something about the audiobook! it was amazing and captured me in the story instead of getting distracted. (also Death sounded so good<3
