Okay, this book was such a huge mess. Both the H & h were immature. But while I hated Nic throughout the book, I began to sympathize with Claire. She was just a victim of circumstances and though she came to the realisation very late, I was glad that she finally got herself out of the situation with her ex. Nic was a straight up asshole and his thoughts made me want to puke.

Especially the chapter where he bet to watch Claire have sex with her then boyfriend was gross and I wanted to quit at that point.

Still, the last few chapters were very angsty and I kind of liked it so I'm going to continue reading the next book to see if there's any character development because Nic badly needs it and he should also grovel at Claire's feet for the things that he has put her through.
