For a book that I chose at random because the audio was on sale, I was pretty pleased with this one! The chemistry between these two is excellent and their flirting is top-notch. The plot is also really well done, because the political intrigue that brings Olivia and Alec together is carried through to its conclusion, and it works. Similar to other reviewers,

I was pretty annoyed at Alec acting like Olivia hiding her lack of virginity was a big breach of trust, because in reality it’s absolutely insensitive to the double standard that women are held to.

But I still had fun listening.
