Delilah Green Doesn't Care by Ashley Herring Blake

5.0

I just re-listened to this for the second time and it was even better than I remembered! Definitely one of my all time favorite books. I am obsessed with Delilah Green! She is this perfect combination of cocky and sweet, aloof and caring, lost and found. And I absolutely adore her.

Delilah is home in Bright Falls after a LONG time away to photograph the wedding (and all the pre-wedding events) for her high strung step-sister, Astrid Parker. Astrid and Delilah do NOT get along. But the gig pays well and Delilah needs the money more than she needs to avoid her past.

On Delilahs’s first night in town, the oblivious Claire Sutherland unknowingly hits on her best friend Astrid’s estranged step-sister. It’s not her fault though. She can’t help that Delilah went from being the “ghoul of Wisteria House” to a sexy tattooed heartthrob! Or the fact that Delilah Green is just her type. And besides…she needs a distraction now that her ex Josh is back in town attempting to be a dad. A good lay wouldn’t hurt either.
