Hmmmm, this is a tough one to give a rating too. I'd say 3.5 or 3.75.
As other reviews mention, the main character is immensely unlikable. That doesn't necessarily equate to a poorly written/drawn or uninteresting book. It also doesn't mean that her story isn't a story worth telling. I gain a lot from reading/watching female characters that don't fit into the 'likable' box. It challenges me to figure out WHY I don't like them? It is valid or are they simply not conforming to what I was taught to believe a women should be?
I was engaged in the story the whole time and it felt smartly written. It was definitely a story that challenges you to accept a vague or unhappy ending.
