Everything I Know About Love: A Memoir by Dolly Alderton
emotional

This book is quite literally love in a book. Love has always been a sense of comfort and security for me, and when Dolly Alderton wrote, “love is a pretty quiet thing…it’s folding down pages of books you’d find interesting.” Let me tell you I closed the book and thought that every other writer should just go home and pack their bags cause if you can’t write like that then why are you writing at all??
I’m not lying when I say that I just kept crying every 5 pages to the point where I had to just put the book down and call all my female friends. The part where Farly and Dolly talk about where they’re going to live and they say they don’t care as long as they’re near each other. As a 1st gen immigrant girlie who was whisked away from her country and didn’t get a chance to REALLY say good bye to her best friend of ten years, just why??? I thought I was gonna kms with that line.
But anyways, its a really cute book, love it, will now be forever crying.
