This book made me think of my cranky grandma and how behind that cold shell we see on the outside, is someone who is so much more. She was often misunderstood, but she’s one of the most precious people in my life because (1) deep inside she’s compassionate and caring, (2) she’s awesome and talented in so many ways, and (3) she’s my role model.
A Man Called Ove is such a wonderful story. This is my second Fredrik Backman book, and my heart has been moved yet again. I’ve always had a soft spot for grandmas and grandpas. I liked how Fredrik Backman’s books are so grounded on people’s emotions. The last few chapters really had me
