This was just weird. I am normally okay with some borderline controlling behavior from romance heroes, it comes with the genre, but the side character's husband stalking her while shes having dinner with a girlfriend in a small mountain town? They're not even the MC, they're the couple from the first book (which I didn't read) and supposed to be in their HEA and this is the dynamic? Just not my thing. 

There was insta-love between the hero and heroine and no chemistry. The dialogue felt unnatural. 

Just overall not for me.
