Pacing too slow for me and the writing wasn’t good enough too keep me engaged through the meandering bits. If I’m over 5 hours in and only about 45 min of anything meaningful has happened, I’m out. Seemed to fall into the trap memoir-style books sometimes do of telling over showing. Plus, I got the sense it was never going to actually delve that deeply into the dragons.
