Book Lovers by Emily Henry
3.0
Things I liked:
-the banter between the love interests
-the growth of the main character
-the way the ending wasn't just the trope
-the initial idea
Things I didn't like:
-I didn't love some of them overtones (it's hard to explain). Like, where Nora says there isn't a "too tall for men". Actually, there is.
-the basically three sex scenes. That's totally personal preference, but from who I got the recommendation from, I was totally not expecting it and probably should have just put the book down.
-the sister felt way unrealistic to me. I felt like I should be able to relate to her since I have four kids fairly close in age, but no matter how tired I am and how much I want a break, it takes me approximately 1 hour to start missing my kids and I would never want to leave my husband for that long
