This was so much fun to read! It's literally just a silly feel-good book about a human becoming roommates with a vampire without realising he's a vampire and then slowly falling for him. There's a million silly little tropes in it, pining and "well, he can't possible like me" moments while said vampire googles "how to kiss human women" and it is PERFECT.
I'm normally someone who doesn't read anything that could be categorised as a "romcom" but sometimes it's good to read something that's overly silly but adorable, and which literally has no stakes at play. My Roommate Is a Vampire is absolutely the book to read when you wanna read a fanfic type book, but aren't up for going on AO3 — it's also got quirky little google searches, journal entries and text messages that shows just how clueless vampires can be.
Anyway, this was perfect!!
