  • Flaws of characters a main focus? Yes

2.5

but there's nothing that bad or that I strongly disliked.
tbh, I believe the story it could be a well executed cliché, but idk somehow the characters didn't do that well for me.

madelena is.. well, strong and stubborn. just what you would expect from a girl of that kind of upbringing and how isolated she spent most of her life. I kinda liked her but.. idk somehow, even when it makes sense age distrusted and fought back, the last chapters felt dumb because the whole book feels rush.
she and santos didn't exactly develop their relationship, which is a shame bc I very much liked him.

oh, and the age gap.. I mean it didn't bother me that much but he sees her once and yeah she's 18 at that point but still in school... it was a no from me.
also the nickname little kitty was kind of cringe lol and there's like a chapter where santos calla her that like 6 times per page I couldn't stop laughing lol
I'm going to reas the next one just so I can properly end this story, but tbh I already see the plot coming like this is cliché, no surprises around, but it could still be enjoyable.
