This definitely was better than the previous two books, which were honestly boring.

Unsurprisingly, the whole Clary x Jace x Sebastian thing was cringe and uncalled for; not to mention the mc's were getting on my nerves every two pages.
However, there's characters I actually liked; Magnus, Alec, Simon, Izzy, Maia, Max, etc. who weren't so bland.

The plot, however, was interesting—although it could've been executed in a better way—and paced efficiently, which is great because I do not wanna fall into a slump again.
