Kal is way too much of an edge lord and Elena’s “I want him but I shouldn’t” got so tired. Tried to get through it by skimming, but there was so much internal monologue for so little actual action it drove me crazy. And it felt like the characters just kept having the same “I’m evil/I hate you even though I want you” convo over and over. Exhausting.
