Very cute, especially after vol 4 which was a bit darker.

Definitely better then the first two in the series. I feel like things are finally happening. I thought some of the stuff with Chaol and Dorian at the castle was a bit dull, but the stuff with Alein and Manon were really good. I'm not always a fan of sjm but she can write a good action or fighting scene, love all of those in the book.

All and all a good book, and interesting to read after watching the show and movie. I did get a bit tired of all of Louis inner monelouge

Did not finish book. Stopped at 46%.
Might finish, just sorta stopped reading it. It's written in a very interesting and unique way but the overall plot isn't super clear.

Very cute book. I couldn't read the calligraphy that's probably my fault though.
