something about a book that you know what the ending will be but there’s a totally different interpretation that leads to the ending. this is a retelling and is definitely the best retelling ive read. wow

i would recommend this book to ppl who enjoyed tender is the flesh but want something more where they can just read a story and take a break and go back to it and pick up another story. id recommend this to ppl who like short story collections but its not my favorite one tbh. it kind of reminds me of bliss montage where there’s similar themes throughout the stories but at times you truly don’t know where a story could be going, this is a book for ppl who love “the weird girl books” or those who like literary fiction. bruh there was a story about a girl who wanted to be a circle and the lengths she went to be one was so entertaining that’s like the main story i cant stop thinking about
