it was ok id definitely recommend it to someone who is into sci fi and romeo and juliet retellings. it has some of the prettiest writing ill give it back honestly idk why i convinced myself to give this a try knowing that i hate romeo and juliet or anything adjacent to it. maybe cause it’s a popular book and i generally like sci fi. it’s definitely wasn’t a bad book but it wasn’t for me as well. id still recommend it tho
