Howl's Moving Castle fans this is for you. Sentient Houses , Grumpy Demons. A girl struggling with a magic that has only caused her pain finds a house deep in the demon woods. She makes a deal with the Demon Warden....be his servant for a year and he will grant her wish of being normal. I went into this book thinking it was just going to be another Beauty and the Beast retellings but it was so much more. I hope everyone takes a chance to read this authors debut novel and I can't wait to read more of her work

This isn't amazing but it did it's purpose. Needs more worldbuilding and the villain was kind of trash. Hopefully the next book is better and we learn more about the dragons
