I loved the writing. She really captures the feelings, fears and thoughts that go into IVF and infertility. I also appreciated that the author is black so also could write well to that experience. I enjoyed how complex the protagonists were and could understand both of their perspectives even when they did things I did not like.

Loved this book. Made me think deeply and I’m still thinking about it days after I read it. It was hard to put down. Made me think about fate, the past, the future, regrets and just life’s path in general. Loved the creative plot line.
