hot take, but i’d say that the series is actually better than the book. it took all of the good parts and then added some more while completely ignoring the problematic aspects.

Claire Keegan knows how to write about topic and make everybody understand it without naming said topic (at first).

this novel felt like a warm hug that leaves you feeling just a bit emptier than before and longing for more.
