Did not finish book. Stopped at 27%.

What. The. Actual. Fuck.

I had so high expectations going into this book because of the single parent troupe, like yess gimme! but it punched me in the face and said SIKEE!

and honestly the single parent troupe wasn't really bad, I really really liked Naomi and Waylay's relationship and I could see it become a beautiful one at that, what I hated was the the piece of shit called Knox. And ngl I was so ready to like him but no, he had to be the rudest asshole I have ever seen in a book and he's not good looking I'm sorry he's just not it.

lets do the pros and cons about the book (or at least till where I read)
Pros:
  • The comedy was good, I found myself laughing a lot throughout the chapters.
  • Cool side characters, please they were so much more entertaining.
  • Naomi and Waylay's relationship,
"Guess you can't buy too many brussels sprout since we're on bikes," Waylay observed smugly.
"Guess again, smarty pants," I said, pointing at the sign in the window.
Home Delivery Availiable.
"Aww, man," She groaned.
"Now we can get truckload of vegetables," I said cheerily.
CUTE!!

Cons:
  • Terrible writing. Like honestly it read like a wattpad book. And I would have overlooked it if the book could offer anything.
  • KNOX. This man, there is not a single likable thing about this man, I'm telling you. He was an ass from the very beginning. I understand why he'd be rude to her in the start but why keep doing that when you will fall for her within 100 pages??????????? I seriously don't get it (I probably never will)

'And I knew what it meant that she'd use it in conversation. She had fucking flowers in her hair. The woman a romantic. Another strike against her in my book. Romantics were the hardest women to shake loose. The sticky ones. The ones who pretended they could handle the whole "no strings" deal. Meanwhile plotted to become "the one," trying to con men into meeting their parents and secretly looking at wedding dresses'

This, right here my friends is the biggest red flag. And if Naomi knew that he thought of her like that she'd probably never be with him.

And of that wasn't enough he had the audacity to say this to her face:
"Well, Daisy. It means my dick doesn't care that you're not my type. It's still standing up trying to get your attention."

honestly I'm surprised she didn't get out of the car right that instant. You do you babe.

  • Grumpy x sunshine my ass. She's a sunshine cause she wears a sundress and is polite to people like a normal human being should be and he's a grump cause he hates everything and lives in the woods with his dog??????????
  • The amount of time Naomi mentions how sexy and handsome Knox his. Like girl, we get it please stop. She mentions it almost 10 times.

I'm done, this book was such a disappointment and worst of all I really wanted to like this book.

"I apologize for anything I might have done. I was not myself."
"I apologize for shooting you in the leg.” said Lila. “I was myself entirely."
Rhy broke into his perfect smile
"I like this one" he said to Kell. "Can I borrow her?"
"You can try," said Lila, raising her brow. "but you'll be a prince without fingers"
Kell grimaced but Rhy only laughed

OMG YES! I am so excited for more of Lila and Rhy's meeting XD

I was super hyped to read this book and it lived up to it! unlike a certain book... eyes carry on on my shelf

The only thing that makes me sad is that Holland deserved more and
Spoiler shoving him into the Black London coz he was dying was not right.
It didn't seem right, he wasn't himself after all.

Will I recommend it ?
YES! The story line is quite creative.
