The first half of the book was so slow to me, but after that I was very intrigued and wanted to know how it would end. There were quite a few twists that I did not see coming, and I liked how all the different storylines wove together.

This book was a little repetitive, but it did bring me a lot of joy. I was laughing out loud while reading it.

Charlotte and Hank were soooo adorable. I loved all of Charlotte’s sass. And Hank just had the biggest heart out there. All the interactions with the kids were so cute. And shoutout to my favorite, Cletus, coming in to save the day haha

I really enjoyed this novel. The description really sold me because it seemed like it would be fun. I really liked Gracie's character. I felt like she was very real and dealt with a lot of important issues. It's funny because even though this is a romance novel (which heck yes, I did love Sam), I really liked Gracie and Fangli's relationship more. They were so supportive and understanding of one another and it's a good reminder that friendship can be the best thing. But like I said, also really loved Sam. Who hasn't imagined a celebrity falling in love with them? Haha. It was interesting to watch their relationship grow. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the miscommunication in the last 15% of the book. It sort of just slowed the momentum of the book for me.

I was hooked by this story as soon as I read the description. I find tarot cards fascinating, and I was excited that that would be an element in the book. I also am a fan of whodunnit mysteries.

The beginning of the story was a little slow for me. It took a while to set the scene and sometimes there were flashback scenes that came out of nowhere. However, once the plot started to take off, I got more invested in the story. It definitely stressed me out a lot of the time. As a person who likes to follow the rules, Katie's decisions frustrated me to say the least. Some of it wasn't the most believable, but it's a story so I was all for it. I liked the way tarot cards were used through Katie's perspective, and I liked a lot of the side characters like Owen and Jamie. I had a couple of guesses as to where the story/plot was heading...and some were right, while others were vastly wrong. Overall it was a nice read!
