SUPER short but SO sweet and really funny. Very much Thornes typical banter and wit, plus a hot firefighter. Loved it!

Okay, so I am glad that I continued with the series because book 2 was significantly better than book one. Even though this book follows a royal princess, it still felt way more realistic and less like a soap opera.

This one was less cringe and way more interesting than the first. I really enjoyed both main characters and their stories.  it was an easy listen and I highly recommend listening to this one first and skipping the first book.

This was the most soap opera esque book I’ve ever read. It seems like it had potential at first but then it kind of just started sliding and then it snowballed into something not good. Even the steamy scenes were good until they weren’t and then they were a little cringe.

I’m giving this book 3 stars because it really did have potential and I did kind of like the female MC. It was good enough that I want to continue the series even though it is different characters but that’s a positive.

Less than 100 pages, Abby Jimenez manages to twist us inside out, and destroy us in all of the best ways. This book made me giggle, swoon, and so much more and so a few pages. Her characters are always the absolute best all of them, including the side characters. I will say that I wanted a little bit more out of the ending but it is a short story Novella, so I guess I’ll take what I can get.

Honestly I’m kind of surprised I finished this book at all, the only reason why I did is probably because I had the audio at 2.5 speed. I really didn’t like anything about it except for the last few chapters in the female POV.

The MC is probably one of the most insufferable and downright depressing and negative MCs I’ve ever read in a book. I’m sure maybe that was part of the point of his character but it really didn’t work for me and I didn’t see any of the humour in it. Any kind of stand-up comedy type books usually don’t mesh well with me and this one proves that point I guess. I’m not really sure why even gave it three stars maybe because the last few chapters were so good?

Okay what the what? I’m glad I listened to this book at 2.5 speed instead of reading it because it feels like a total waste of my time. There have been a few of this authors books that I really enjoyed but at this point there have been too many duds, and I might just have to give up.

The first 70% of this book is so slow and so boring and then the last 30% is absolutely wild with way too many things happening all at once for me to even care because I was so bored for most of the book. None of the characters were likeable, which disconnected me from the story even more. Maybe I’m just too annoyed to write a nicer review, but this book was not for me and I won’t be suggesting it to anybody.

For such a short and sweet book, this was a wild ride! I loved it, I loved the dynamics between the characters, the plot line, the super sexy steamy scenes and how it all unfolds. While it is fairly graphic, it adds to the story and I didn't mind it too much. There aren't many romantic suspense novels that I've read, and even less I've enjoyed, but this was a huge hit and can't wait for the rest of the series.

Thank you to Julia for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review, I love taking a trip back to Dogwood Cove and getting glimpses of all our favourite Donnelly brothers!

A hot firefighter who refuses to settle down meets a single mom that changes his whole outlook. Do you need to know anymore? No, you don't, because it's as good as it sounds. Not to mention the beautiful Canadian setting, plus the deliciously steamy scenes (including checking off a sex bucket list?!). Check out this series - and tell me who your favourite brother is!

I actually stayed up late to finish this book, which nearly never happens. I flew through the last few chapters because I couldn't believe what I was reading and couldn't get enough. The entire book was so intriguing, I couldn't put it down and needed to know how it was all going to play out. I hadn't predicted anything and didn't see anything at all coming, maybe because I was just so busy trying to keep my head on straight with the twists.

I loved the back and forth timelines, weaving the fast paced tale of all the aliases. I love a good 5 star thriller! This one was a huge hit.

This was short story perfection! While it was short and sweet, and half of the mere 100 pages were text message exchange, it was still absolutely perfect. I had a silly smile on my face throughout the whole book and even though we didn't have much in the way of character development, I adored both the main characters. Loved it and can't wait to read the others.
