Ok so i didn’t love it like i was expecting to, HOWEVER i think there’s a strong possibility I’ll grow into this series as i keep reading. I liked it enough and want to understand the hype. There were plenty of moments of both suspense and fantasy themes but not in as much depth as i would have liked. Very PG which i was sad about after ACOTAR hahahahaha

Honestly probs like 3.5. Didn’t capture my attention like neon gods did (@madison you were so right book 1 is the best) but still a fun audiobook with a cool Greek mythology spin. Airplane emoji wicked beauty

“To being the most fearsome and imposing girls the world has ever seen.”

Read post heir of fire and pre queen of shadows. I loved each separate novella of five in this prequel and loved how it answered questions hinted at in the first three books. The red desert setting was probs my fav of the novellas. I adored her relationship with Sam, though I wish there was more of a deep dive there. So excited to get back to book four and see what’s next for miss Celaena <3

"Let's go rattle the stars."

Gives me ACOMAF vibes leading into whatever comes next… I really fell in love with some characters that previously felt unattached to. Incredible final 100 pages, no notes.
