I just find that, in consuming my third Alan Cumming memoir, that I am just very invested in this Scottish immigrant who has played so many characters that I love. From creepy Sean in Circle of Friends to Eli Gould in the Good Wife to Nightcrawler to Sandy Frink to Mr Elton in Emma… he just pops up everywhere.

I think that I may be a little burned out on the Percy Jackson and PJ adjacent books at this point. This was the 14th in the series that I've read this year. I have one more book in the Trials of Apollo series and then The Sun and the Star, and then Chalice of the Gods and Triple Goddess. That's another 4 books, I'm going to take a bit more of a break before I continue with it
