Short stories.

Unhinged women. Some of the stories better than others as it the way with these things but I enjoyed myself with it!

This was a cute young adult rom com.

Easy read and characters were likable and you were rooting for them.

A little simple in places but perfect for the age range I think.

So this book took me a little while to finish, it felt long and slow and in parts I was itching to DNF the book, but i powered through and in the end I probably quote enjoyed it.

I feel like this is one of those important books we should all read, but i did feel a little like it was a wild ride from start to finish in what Nancy ends up as, like innocent girl mooning over an actress to live in lesbian. But that middle part is unhinged.

Fair play Sarah Walters I guess. What the fuck. 😂

Enjoyed this however I am unsure that this is a particularly inspiring book it did not feel groundbreaking and I felt leant heavily on tropes that perhaps are a little out dated.

I'm not entirely sure I understood the need for this book or what I got from it.

This book was very mid, I felt a little like for a 300 page book it entertained me whilst I was reading it but actually what I got out of it was very little.

I felt really sorry for Grace the little girl, because all the adults around here were self interested and a bit shit at parenting her.

Everyone else was an asshole.

Unhinged women, but make it short stories.

Some better than others as is the way with short story collections but definitely more hits than misses.

Good stuff.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 29%.
Self indulgent waffle.

Not a fan of this at all. The bits about plants were genuinely interesting but the rest of it was not for me, I found it far to lacking in self awareness. I cannot cope.

This book was quite frustrating, and felt like the author didn't really have an ending in mind.

It's one of those where I felt that the ending was just platitudes and nothing really got answered.

Also suffered from being written pre-pandemic, and me reading it post-pandemic.

Unhinged woman lite, I think this really is an entry level unhinged women book, it's not setting the world on fire but it made me chuckle in parts.

I was so mad that man stole her cat. What a dickhead
