*I was provided an ARC in return for an honest review*

First and foremost, I don't typically read Sports Romance because I am not a sports person. This was completely out of my element, but this year is all about trying new things so why not?!?! I really liked that while the story is based on a sport, the book does not solely focus on the sport and I didn't feel like I was reading a racing book.

Throttled in the first in a series and it follows the story of Noah and Maya.
Noah is a F1 race car driver who thinks about nothing more than the next race he's going to win and which girl he's going to take to his bed. HELLO PLAYER!
Maya is newly graduated but freshly unemployed so decides to follow her brother and Noah's teammate, Santiago, another F1 racer, around the world to support him and start a vlog.

I loved the relationship between Maya and Santiago. Santiago did get a bit whiny in some parts for me, but overall, I enjoyed his character and loved the banter between the siblings and even when he took digs at Noah.

Noah and Maya's relationship is hot and steamy and I love the slow burn of it at first, but I will admit there were some parts I wanted to smack both of them for being idiots and not seeing the obvious feelings they had for each other. I loved the character development for Noah the most. Absolutely loved how he owned up to his faults and took care of himself to better his mental being which made me love him even more.

I have to say that I am very excited for the next installment.

Lily White has done it again!! She took a stalker concept and turned it into this hot character that I now wish was stalking me!

Lily wrote these beautiful characters. Adeline was wild and beautiful and broken while Ari was calm and collected and precise. Every move Adeline made, Ari was always five steps ahead.

Then you have Lincoln who you can’t help but love and the banter between him and Ari is...charming? Yeah, let’s go with that. Then you add Adeline in the mix and Lincoln likes to push buttons!

Gabriel Dane can easily lie his way out of any situation. A broken prince. Fraud. He definitely lives up to his name in this book. The lies woven so intricately, my brain couldn’t keep up with the truth.

Ivy Callahan is a force to be reckoned with. She’s not your spoiled little princess that sits back and waits for someone to rescue her. She takes care of business herself. Her lies are almost as fraudulent as Fraud himself.

Put the two of them together and watch the lightning crack, the thunder roll, and the storm erupt around them.
