Having the Barbarian's Baby by Ruby Dixon

I wasn’t quite into this one at first, but I definitely enjoyed it at the end. This one is about Megan and Cashol, and the birth of their Kit. Cashol is so cute and thoughtful, especially with the little treasure hunt he set up for Megan, while he went on the hunt with Haeden.

“I love to hear my mate’s laugh. I love to take care of her. I do not mind when she is tired, because then I will pull her against me and hold her all night. I live to please her, and when you feel your son kick in her belly… Everything in the world is perfect.”

Ahhh, I absolutely loved this one, Lily Golds books are some of my favourites and always seem to get a 5 Star rating from me. After reading Twisted Games earlier this year, I have been wanting to find a bodyguard romance that makes my heart beat as much as it did when I read it. Triple Duty Bodyguards was that and loads more. I loved the contrast between all the boy’s personalities, and how between them, Briar would always be satisfied emotionally, mentally, and well you know DEFINITELY PHYSICALLY. Plus I loved the bit of action this one had, as well as the use of PTSD, it was just shown so beautifully in this book. I loved the representation in this book that showed that not all girls can finish from penetration. It’s one of my pet peeves and something I can never find in books. Definitely one of my favourite books of the year, and I can’t wait to read the rest of Lily Golds Reverse Harems' books.

“Maybe all I needed was a good night’s sleep. Maybe finally opening up to the guys helped ease up my anxiety. Or maybe Glen’s dick has magic healing properties. Whatever the reason, I’m pleased.”

This was so cute and fun, I honestly love all the short stories in between the novels. I especially love hearing about all the babies and their everyday lives on not-hoth. I just still can’t believe she called her twins Anna and Elsa, it’s just so funny to me. This one is mainly about Nora and Dagesh, who have been mentioned before, but their book isn’t until later.

“We are going to talk.” … “That is human-speak for ‘you are going to give me your cock’.”

Would you look at that, another 5 Star rating for a Lily gold book. I swear her books are laced with crack or something. I can’t get enough and I’m always coming back for more. I love that the guys that she writes about always have depth and so many layers that make them themselves. This book definitely threw my feelings for a loop, it had me laughing, blushing and crying all in the same chapter. It was so sweet and heartfelt and I just loved it. It definitely dealt with harder topics such as foster children, childhood trauma and even infidelity. And they were dealt with in such a mature and sincere way. I loved seeing all the different ways that the guys got along with and parented Cami, they were all so different but loved her all the same. Once again this is one of my favourite books of the year, and I can’t wait to read the rest of Lily Golds Reverse Harems' books.

“Three boyfriends, shut-down ovaries, and a secret doorstep baby are hardly what I envisioned when I used to imagine my future family. But right now, they’re more than enough.  So much more”

Loved this little cute and spicy novella. It goes back in time and we get to see how it all started and how the parents, Luna and Banner met. This is definitely a good little introduction to The Lycans world, and I would recommend reading it.

“I wanted my mate, I needed to get to her, claim her, spread her thighs and rut between them like the wild beast I was.”

Okay this couple is definitely tearing me apart, I don’t even know what to think or feel about it. This book definitely had me in my feels and I just want everything to be okay for them, especially Braelynn. She has done nothing wrong and her entire life has been turned upside down and into a mess. And that cliffhanger, damn, I’m so glad I have the next book because if I didn’t I think I would die inside. I need to know what happens next, especially if Braelynn is okay.

“I don’t know what happens once you die, but it can’t be worse than this. Than every regret stealing your breath and every fear paralyzing you.”

This series threw me for a loop, definitely a roller coaster full of every emotion you can think of. This book had me on the edge of my seat just wanting all the answers. And I will say, they were not the answers I was expecting. I really enjoyed the ending and it definitely gave me a feeling of peace, after all the chaos that this series was. Honestly, I love this couple, especially Braelynn, and hope everything is always okay for them and that everything works out. I loved the little glimpses of the wives of the cross brothers, all together and drinking wine, it was definitely what she needed. This was a good series and I definitely recommend giving it a read.

“It occurs to me at this moment that I love her so deeply, I would light the world on fire if only she told me she wanted it to burn.”

Everything Kat writes is outstanding, and Rewrite Our Story was no exception! I have been excitedly waiting for the day this ARC arrived in my inbox, it even had me constantly refreshing my mail app on its arrival day. Ever since reading Black Ties and White Lies, I have been waiting for more of its bewitching world. I'm so delighted that Kat decided to go in the direction of writing about the small town, Sutten Moutain. Marigold and Cade's story dragged me in, right from the beginning and continued to keep me on the edge of my seat until the end. This book certainly broke my heart at times, (especially the mother's letter), but it always put it back together. They had such a raw relationship and I was just begging for everything to work out for them. Their love for each other had no end, and in the end they let nothing get in the way of that. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. I'm hoping it's about Pippy and her grump because I'm dying to know more about them! and I know for a fact that I will be eating that book up as fast as I did this one. Rewrite Our Story comes out on May 11th, but you should go and run to preorder this now!

“The thought of another man touching you, tasting you, is enough to drive me fucking mad.” “Even if they tried, I’d still be thinking of you.”

I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the others, but it was still really good. I mean don’t we all wanna be snowed in with a bunch of guys? The storyline was great, the characters were great and the spice was pretty darn good as well. This book did remind me a bit of Trillina Pucci’s ‘Tangled in Tinsel’. And I will say that I definitely said ‘Big Summer Blowout’ from Frozen, several times while reading this. I’m sad that there are no more of them left to read but I can’t wait for Not Your Baby to come out.

This was so cute and spicy, I just loved it. I spent the whole book just wanting them to get together. The whole ‘Second Act Brake Up’ thing always annoys me but boy do I love watching them grovel afterwards, as well as their speech that they always give to get back together. I haven’t read an Exs Dad book probably since Birthday Girl at the start of last year but I thoroughly enjoyed this, definitely recommend it.
