Really would have benefitted from being longer
Solid plot and villain, but romance was lacking

Oh this was phenomenal and just to my tastes ! What a wonderful way to start the year :) !
I really would like to see/read more books about and by physically disabled authors, and I always look for autism rep because there’s a good chance I am and I like seeing that :)
Regardless actual book! Mwah. Love to see it! I love mutual unrequited pining and soft men :)
Characters were wonderfully realistic and their motivations and actions always made sense to me, which is always wonderful !!
All in all, solid 9.5/10 !

FUCK YES AUTISTIC FAE BOOK!!
That is is that’s the review /hj
On a real note. Mmmmmmmmmm
Good characters & realistic interactions. A bit annoyed at how much Seelie was babied but that’s cause I related to her way too much and not everyone was super understanding of her autism and it’s just. That’s the experience huh??
Cool world, felt realistic and I really liked that it showed class differences and the poor not knowing about huge historical events - why would they? There’s no records or formal schooling for them.
Cool magic !! Want to see it explored deeper. Loved the different types of magic and seeing Seelie slowly grow to control her power, even if she’s still scared of its destructiveness for obvious reasons.
So desperate for the sequel and how all the consequences of the last few chapters will play out. Christ twists on twists
I need the sequel yesterday but this book came out this year so I must wait. AAAAAA
