going into this i knew she was going for her sisters ex. what i didn’t expect is her to harbour anger at sister. just bec she has crush on him doesn’t mean he is perfect. idk i hate when women on each other over a man.

one of mmc casually talks about how his ppl can have consensual sex with saxon woman. aka they have raping them till this point. i can’t…. i can’t 

too fast burn… and creepy! the hunt literally had anxiety at a thousand. no romance building like at alllllll!

i skipped the first book bec “fathers friend” trope is worse than “older brothers friend” trope. the age in this was okay. she’s twenty seven so young enough were you get that age gap thing work but not so young it’s gross.

all i’m going to say is this was worse one… add the fact that that country was mentioned and i’ll pass. like ari was basically iof.. ew

idk for some reason there a couple of pairing that worked but most ppl didn’t work for me. anyway i was entertained..

the romance in this might be my least favourite. roman(i refuse to call him banger bec what kind of nickname is that?) and nik seem to be not fully part of the family. bridget has known the other guys longer so it would have been better if she had more time with the ones she doesn’t know.

the pet names are are still gag inducing! wth is baby love? i screamed recited all pet names in all the duets out of frustration to my sister yesterday and she asked why i was still reading them. simple bec it entertaining and eye rolly.

i have a lot of critics about these ppls abilities, the villains and the plot in general in all the duets. however it is a brain dead just vibes series so it is what is.

anyway on to the next

my biggest complaint of the other series was too much smut at times that were not good. i think think diet didn’t have as much. it still had a lot but not as much. 

i will say the fixation in protecting a house over ppl was so annoying. idk i hated it.

anyway mills sticks to certain tropes i like(ie bi awakening and poly relationships) hence why i’m back despite having a lot of issues with series. like candy it’s good but also bad for you.

the nicknames are still killing me…

now should i go back and read psychos despite my eversion to twins? decisions desicions. i probably will.

ames mills has her tropes and sticks with it. even though i said i wouldn’t read this series anymore i find the consistency with tropes soothing to my anxiety or at least that’s how my therapist explained it. 

anyway on to the next
