I too would risk my life for that chocolate milk addicted, duck floatie loving kiddo. His little suits? Cuteness aggression on max. Can't wait to see where this story goes.

The deadpan delivery is everything to me. So is Astaroth. Big, big, fan of his.

For every reason I disliked our unreliable narrator, I found another reason to understand her. The romantic in me could not recover from the recount of her and her husband. I am satisfied as a reader and appreciative of the story and level of craft involved. But me- I wanted the nice little package with a bow explaining what and why and who and where- and that just means I am fundamentally at odds with this story and that’s ok. I think.

the writing and world build wasn’t doing enough solid work for a masked sci-fi man (who also easily removes his helmet)
